With the Soundlink Mini, Bose largely succeeds in their attempt to create a small portable speaker with good sound. While it may be small, Tech Guide says the Soundlink Mini has "excellent sound quality," and Laptop Magazine says it has the "best sound in its class and beyond loud for its size." And Bose has made sure you can take that sound anywhere, building the Soundlink Mini similar in size to the original Jambox, and 9to5Mac says you can "easily throw it in a bag" but "it's way heavier." Despite that weight difference, PC Advisor finds "it's still light enough" and "the extra weight really gives a premium feel." The Soundlink Mini manages to offer big sound in a small package that won't break the bank.

While it's fairly expensive at $200, the Bose SoundLink Mini is one of few standout products in the ultracompact wireless speaker category, featuring a top-notch design and very good sound for its tiny size.

The Bose SoundLink Mini may not be the loudest portable Bluetooth speaker on the market, but it's one of the best sounding and really packs a punch considering its compact size.

For such a tiny speaker, its sonic gravitas was palpable. Low-end bass was particularly meaty compared with what we've come to expect from the endless array of on-the-go portables. In that regard, the DNA of its elder sibling - which also delivered excellent sound quality for its size- was apparent.

Great sound out of a small package. It's very loud and packs a lot of bass, no problem filling a room or using outside on a deck. Easy to pair and use with IOS or Android products. Very heavy, high quality construction. One negative would be that there is so much bass that podcasts aren't as...

Some people might not like the frequency equalizing that Bose uses. For me, I really like it. The speaker does not distort even at high levels. It is loud. It feels substantial in the hand, but yet quite portable. The design is great with all the buttons on the top. I really like the...

It's a beautiful device with powerful sound in a size that is as portable as they come. Whether I'm using it indoors with the sound low or outside at max volume for a party, the sound is great. The only hitch I've noticed is if the song has a lot of bass and you have it set on a hard surface,...

This thing is awesome. It is tiny. It sounds amazing. It connects very easily. The dock is nice. Even the power plug on this thing is nice. It is designed to be portable but I actually keep it on my desk at work and ditched the lame computer speakers which were covering my desk. I've only...

I recently bought the Bose Soundlink Mini after trying it out in a department store. It is stylish and formed from a single piece of aluminium with front and back speaker grills. It weighs a great deal more than its size suggests at nearly 700g. The sound that the Soundlink Mini gives out is...

It's just amazing , good bass. Sometimes a little too much bass but it's close to a wall. I haven't even put it on it's loudest and it's already loud . I can just drop this in my bag or put it in my car that does not have any auxiliary, sadly it does not have any microphone for...

Compared side-by-side to the UE Boom (which is comparable size and price, and of which many people have submitted rave reviews), the Bose Soundlink Mini Bluetooth speaker sounds much better, has much fuller base while maintaining a nice sizzling treble. On a scale of 1 to 10, if a typical $2000...

Really like this product... Truly portable, and great sound. The sound quality is really nice, though maybe not as powerful as SoundDock II.

A lot of people may shy away from this beauty because of the price, but based on my loyalty and experience with Bose, it's more of an investment. Bose has an amazing warranty that goes along with all of their products and in terms of sound quality its amongst the greatest. Especially being...

I know Bose focuses on the deep end with everything they make, however! the mini sound link with a downloaded equalizer makes this an astounding Bluetooth device. When you make a couple of adjustments you will be shocked at what you hear. The size could not be any better, and I for one love the...
