If you are looking for a rugged and outdoor durable Android smartphone for Verizon Wireless, your best and only choice is the Casio G’zOne Commando 4G LTE, as it meets MIL 810G certification for being able to withstand the elements, and it comes with an attractive $99 contract price. Even though we like the overall design of the phone, it is lacking in some features found on other devices at this price-point, such as a larger and higher resolution display, faster processor, and better quality camera. Despite this, the Casio G’zOne Commando 4G LTE should work well for its target audience. quote

The Casio G'zOne Commando 4G LTE is an excellent and affordable rugged handset, but skip it if taking great pictures is a priority.

The Casio G'zOne Commando 4G LTE is a super-tough smartphone for Verizon Wireless spelunkers, but of less interest for everyone else.

The Casio G'zOne Commando 4G LTE may look tough, but it can't withstand much abuse, making the sacrifices of form and performance not really worth it.

These really are the most durable phones on the market... my wife had the previous (3G) version before this one for like 5 years, and was very rough on it... she finally caved to an upgrade only because I teased her so much about how out of date the hardware and the operating system was...
