The Vengeance 1500 is a well-designed, comfortable, great-sounding headset that Everything USB calls "by far the greatest USB headset" they've reviewed. Although the site said the 1500's mic was just "middling," it found the headset "extremely comfortable," with "amazing sound quality." Maximum PC also liked the Vengeance 1500, calling it a "serious gaming headset" with "good sound" and "high construction quality." Maximum PC also likes the headset's simulated 7.1 surround sound, saying it effectively simulates a "7.1-channel speaker system wrapped around your head."

Great build quality, premium look & feel, and an extremely full range of sound make this headset worth every penny of its $100 suggested price tag. If the 7.1 processing isn't a make-or-break option for you, then this headset is without a doubt one of the top gaming headsets available to date.

Corsair's Vengeance 1500 ... headsets stood out for their aggressive design, sturdy build quality, and overall sound quality. This is especially true when it came to bass reproduction and grinding or booming sound effects.
