There are a lot of portable hard drives out there, some of which are cheaper and offer higher-capacity options than the HItachi Touro Mobile Pro. What the Touro Mobile Pro has on those is speed: Unlike most portable or laptop drives, the Touro Mobile Pro spins at 7200 RPM, making it a great option if you frequently back up large files on the go. The main downside is the drive's (original) maximum capacity of 750GB, but there are few other high-speed drives this portable, and at under $90 for the 500GB version, it's priced competitively with some slower drives.
