While duplex printing is on the slow slide, the 6500A Plus is a great performer in pretty much every other area. Add in the fact that it's stacked with features and doesn't cost that much to run, and you've got a seriously impressive printer, especially considering the bargain basement asking price.

While it worked it was ok. Installation is really long and even if you use wi-fi you need to connect via USB for installing it. After 1 year and 2-3 paper packs, it decided to die. Do not buy this big noisy printer.

Good enough printer but with a few snags for me. There is no one button scanning to a Mac, and scanning aborts more than 50% of the time. Envelopes always come out smeared.

I just like everything about this printer! Cheap ink too. You can do everything on WiFi and the touch panel is totally self explanatory. Plus you do everything from the front. A big stack of new paper just slides in from the front. The 30 sheet feeder is face up and very forgiving on paper...

The 6500a is a good general purpose printer, with network connections and fax. Apart from the absurd ink cost, the printer is a bargain. To save cash, buy ink from a third party, works great and saves over 80% of the printing cost. Touch screen is nice to have in this price class. i paid 49...
