Criteria Comments Rating
  • Reception and call quality Can't beat my Nokia 6131, but comparable with my N9 and a lot better than my Ex-HTC Touch HD good
  • Display My best phone display so far good
  • Battery life After the update to the phone can last several days under normal usage. great!
  • Camera Same as my other phones. Normal smart phone camera good
  • Ease of use I had a N9!!! Can't comply to any other phone. great!
  • Design and form factor It fits my taste, what can I say? good
  • Portability (size / weight) The N9 feels better, but due to the swipe concept easy to handle. I my opinion the phone should be slightly heavier. good
  • Media support Nothing which couldn't be solved. Can but everything on the micro SD card. good
  • Durability The other half is hard to change. I always fear to break something. so-so
  • Ecosystem (apps, accessories, etc.) Appstore is continuously improving, with apps integrating neatly in the phone. Not all apps are native yet, but Andriod apps can help for the moment. good
Detailed review
I was waiting a long time for this phone, ' coz I always thought I'm missing the access to all the Android apps, with all the hype around. After having it, the Play store is just pissing me off. Trillions of apps for one and the same purpose. I takes ages to find a suiting one, but still with some disquieting feelings about data mining, NSA, etc.
But at the same time the native app ecosystem is flourishing and soon all my needs will be fulfilled. And I have still the option to have a peak to some new trendy Android buzz.

Stepping away from apps, the phone works perfectly for my purposes.
