Inconsistency in treatment of touch notebooks
I submitted the U500VZ Touch recently, and it was reclassified under a sub-spec of the U500VZ. Since they're two different experiences despite similar hardware, I don't think it's entirely deserving of a sub-spec status...

...and at least someone agrees with me because the X1 Carbon Touch is it's own product.

Could we get some clarification on this point please?

Shipping Delays...
No one in the media seems to be reporting that this highly anticipated Notebook is suffering from major supply issues and shipping delays from Launch. Infact, most USA customers who ordered in Launch week (8-14-12) have yet to see any shipping confirmation from Lenovo. Any one else feeling the pain?

Comparison between ASUS and Lenovo's ThinkPads
Well. I am a huge fan of ASUS, that's why I used to buy an EeePC when my last PC was stolen. Nevertheless, my new job request me to be equipped with a high power processor. Steven, who is a good IT guy I know, suggested Lenovo ThinkPads. While this morning I saw 2 PCs. They are Lenovo's ThinkPad X1 Carbon and ASUS Zenbook UX31. Could someone make a comparison between these two? The prices are unknown, yet. Hope I could afford buying one...

Will the Thinkpad X1 Carbon succeed where other Lenovo Ultrabooks have failed?
Despite some good efforts, Lenovo has yet to make a major dent in the Ultrabook market. The top sellers are, for the most part, from brands like HP, Asus and Acer. But the company hopes to change that with the Thinkpad X1 Carbon, which actually looks like a Thinkpad, rather than a MacBook Air clone. It's also, according to Lenovo, the thinnest ultrabook in existence (you can check out the specs here: http://gdgt.com/lenovo/thinkpad/x1-carbon/specs/). Here's some more info from Liliputing:
