For much of the time the LG 55LM760T is a dazzling TV, with its extraordinary designer looks, joyfully aggressive approach to pictures, outstandingly flexible multimedia playback ... serious film fans will likely struggle during dark scenes to see past the set's numerous backlight flaws.

Scored the 47" on a special for $700 so I may be a bit bias, however; the picture quality on this TV is stellar as is the design. The bezel is almost non existent -- all you see is screen. Media support is ample with 4 HDMI ports and the standard 'smart tv' apps, only thing I wish it had was...

My wife and I bought this TV before "the big game" earlier this year, since our older flat panel (Olevia 537-B11) is showing its age finally. Also, the wife didn't like how small the 37 felt in our living room, which is why we sprung for the 55" version over the 47". We like the picture quality....
