For running, cycling, and plenty of other endurance sports, the MIO Alpha BLE represents a major upgrade in comfort and ease-of-use in heart rate monitors, but it's also quite expensive in comparison.

Should You Buy It? It's a tough call. It's easily the best heart rate monitor watch yet, but part of that is because the others have been so bad. The Alpha mostly works really well, most of the time. If that's good enough for you ... then go for it
