Onkyo's TX-NR626 is a value-packed AV receiver with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and even a turntable input, but it's just short of being our top pick.

The TX-NR626 is not the be-all/end-all receiver in terms of sound quality and transparency, especially when you're talking about things like vinyl and getting every last nuance of sound out of high-res recordings. However, it will put a smile on your face for only $599.

I needed to upgrade an older Onkyo receiver from 2007 that only had two HDMI ports. I have a WII U, Apple TV, cable box and blu ray player, and that receiver just couldn't handle all of that as easily as I would have liked it to. After reading a lot of reviews and checking out information...

Replaced an earlier Onkyo receiver that got cantankerous. Only one problem with this one. I have antenna, Directv, smart BD, DVD/VHS and WiFi as inputs. Output to one HDTV and 5.1 speakers. When watching Directv and there is a microsecond signal drop, the receiver switches input to the antenna....
