Best-in-class black levels and excellent all-around performance places the Pioneer PDP-5020FD near the top of the picture quality heap, but it will cost you.

It's black level created an dark void adjacent to the other displays. I’ve never seen this much depth and shadow detail on a display and I could barely make out where the screen stops and the bezel begins. Watching standard def via Directv I was taken aback how great it looks on this display...
