The SurroundBar 6000 takes the traditional soundbar and adds one crucial piece of home-theater gear — a wireless subwoofer — to give you a taste of surround sound that you can't get from a soundbar alone. The SurroundBar 6000 may not be a substitute for a full surround system, but it may be the closest thing you'll find with the simplicity and low price of a soundbar. It's an easy, and worthwhile, upgrade to your HDTV's built-in speakers.
