conclusion:We like it

We're normally wary of branded products, but in this case Razer brings the Force to this headset, delivering solid sound, a clear mic, and a super comfortable set of ear cushions that you won't have to take off during extra long sessions of Star Wars: The Old Republic (or any other game you choose to play). If you're a Star Wars fan you'll appreciate the Republic and Empire-themed styling, while fans and non-fans alike may be less than enthused by the price for what it offers.

Razer's Star Wars: The Old Republic gaming headset looks striking and sounds great for gaming and other activities, but its high price and specific branding might limit its appeal.

While it performs well and looks amazing, I still find $129 a bit steep for what the Star Wars: The Old Republic gaming headset offers. Perhaps if it had a wireless option the price would make more sense; as it stands I'd have capped the product at around $99.

Some excellent virtual 7.1 surround sound in a reasonably-priced, $129 dollar package. It is not a game-changer, but a solid performer that would more than serve your gaming needs.

Provides players with a stylish way to communicate with great clarity, and to hear sounds from any direction with pinpoint accuracy. While the audio quality and branding of the headset are very unique and appealing, the comfort issue is something we keep coming back to.

All I know is the sound is phenomenal and The Old Republic’s voice acting is a real pleasure with this thing wrapped around my noggin.
