If you're looking for a gaming mouse that is comfortable, stylish, and can be customized to your heart's content, then the Roccat Kone[+] is a great companion for long nights of FPS, RTS, MMORPG, and any other gaming acronym you want to throw at it. The shape and texture will fit your hand well, and for a fit to your gaming style you can adjust the dpi, set macros and profiles, create up to 22 different functions and access them at the touch of the Easy-Shift[+] button, add more weight, and even control the LED lighting. It might not have the insane physical adjustments of the Mad Catz Cyborg R.A.T. 7, but it'll look a lot better sitting on your desk.

Digital Versus Jun 1, 2012

On top of being fast and precise, the Kone[+] is very comfortable in the hand (as long as you're right-handed), glides smoothly across the table, has a very comprehensive driver and top-notch ergonomics. The only thing that might not please everyone is the design.

Hardware Heaven Oct 6, 2010

Roccat markets the Kone[+] as one of the most customizable mice ever created and having used it we would have to agree that it is. We could easily spend hours tweaking the mouse to our preference and still not touched many of the options available.

While not entirely perfect, the mouse is fairly comfortable, responsive, and is sure to meet the needs of all but the most scrutinizing gamers.

The Kone is an excellent mouse with the exception of its minor flaws. The software the Kone comes with is one of the best programs I've seen for a mouse, and is able to be customized in almost any way. ... I feel the mouse is definitely something I would buy again.

The Kone+ is keenly priced given its epic list of tweaks and customisation options. However, you should consider how you hold your mouse and how much finger support you need before buying it, as we found the lack of support for our ring finger and little finger annoying.

Just because of slight button placement/use issues and that rather steep price-tag when compared to previous Roccat models, the Roccat Kone [+] is awarded our Silver Award for being exceptional, if slightly flawed.
