If you're after an action camera that does everything well and doesn't cost a fortune then the Toshiba Camileo X-Sports should certainly be considered.

Toshiba has put together a pretty enticing package that offers decent value for money. GoPro Hero3+ videos look a little better, but the X-Sports output comes very close and the Toshiba camera costs a lot less.

The small, 94-gram (3.3-ounce) unit comes with a 2-inch LCD display, a 12-megapixel CMOS sensor and the ability to shoot 60fps video. There's a 10x digital zoom paired with an ultra-wide angle lens, micro-USB and mini-HDMI ports and the battery promises to last 1.5 hours when shooting 60fps.

We found the Camileo X-Sport was lightweight in build and easy to navigate, but we can't help thinking it looks a like like the GoPro, or the Rollei Actioncam S-50 which was also launched at the show.
