There's a lot to like about this in spite of a few flaws.

How we score

The Engadget Score is a unique ranking of products based on extensive independent research and analysis by our expert editorial and research teams. The Global Score is arrived at only after curating hundreds, sometimes thousands of weighted data points (such as critic and user reviews).

Engadget Summary

With the XP500, Turtle Beach delivers a lot of flexibility, allowing wireless gaming on a PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3; they even support VoIP calls on a PC. Sound quality is very good, and customizable profiles let you tune them for specific games or other media. At over $200, the XP500s aren't cheap, but they're less expensive than some other high-end wireless gaming cans, such as the gdgt Must-have Astro A50.
