Has anyone heard if Verizon is getting the Samsung Note 10.1 2014? If so, when?
Looking for an affordable, convenient way to support our laptops, ipads and ipods when we go away each year to a location that does NOT offer free wireless. We're using Verizon cell phones, and don't own any smart phones or 4g connections. Other than a Verizon or Virgin Mobile hotspot, Is there anything better out there that doesn't require a monthly fee when you're not using it?
In February 2013, I'm up for upgrade on Verizon. I currently have an iPhone 4. I'm going to get an iPhone 5 if I do upgrade, but I actually also want a Playstation Vita. If I do buy a Vita next month, I won't upgrade my iPhone until December 2013. I really like the idea of gaming on the go with physical controls, and I really like the game selection. They are both in the same general price range. What do you think? iPhone upgrade now and Vita never, or Vita now and iPhone upgrade in Christmas...
My wife hates the large screens on the new Androids. She loves her old Incredible but needs a replacement. What's the best Verizon Android with a smallish screen (or at least not at 5" one)
I'll be in Germany for a week or so at the end of September. I was wondering what my options were for pre paid mobile service, including data. The devices I have that take a sim card are a Galaxy S III and Blackberry Storm (both Verizon). Even they use different size cards...
I was wondering if anyone can help me out figure out what I should look for when I buy a prepaid SIM card & if anyone can confirm if (one of) these devices will work overseas.
I had to buy a new phone and decided to get a RAZR MAXX. 2 days later, I discover the Galaxy S3 will be coming out within my 14-day trial period on Verizon. I like the battery life of the MAXX but the S3 seems to have a better camera and includes S-Voice (a SIRI of sorts). So, stick with the RAZR or pay the $35 restocking fee and get the S3 when it comes out in the next few days?
Is it something inherent to the technology behind it or the networks unwillingness to build better infrastructure?
I am thinking of purchasing the galaxy note i have verizon as my service provider should i buy the international version or att . I rooted my last phone so i am not tech idiot but i am not familiar with unlock processes and lte capabilities if anyone cold help would be greatly appreciated.
Last week i have ordered a Kin Onem. I have bought it for using on Wi-Fi network or for Zune service like a Zune player. As you know it is a CDMA phone. So it is not supported in my country, therefore i won't be using it as phone. However i don't clearly know but i hope i will use it with my Zune account and Zune software any ideas? Additionally, i read many forums saying that i have to activate the phone from Verizone web site. Do i have to activate or unlock it to be able to use on Wi-Fi...
i don't have a data package and i cant afford the 30 extra dollar but i need reliable information before i buy this phone
I'm up for my upgrade next month, and it doesn't look like I'll be able to get what I really want (a Windows phone) anytime soon. I don't want the iPhone, so I'm just wondering what the best options are.
I rooted my phone and I attempted to install the OTA ( I performed the necessary steps to keep my phone rooted), but the update didn't install correctly. However, I'm constantly reminded to install or download the update and it's getting annoying. Does anyone know if you can disable this notification using SQL Lite Editor or by any other means?
P.S. I'd rather not deal with unrooting and rerooting my phone and am trying to avoid it by any means possible.
My favorite part about Google Voice is using it for voicemail. Unfortunately, in the initial Google Voice setup on my Galaxy Nexus, it tells you that my carrier doesn't support that action or something. Apparently Verizon just wants to squeeze money out of their customers because they have their own visual voicemail but its $36/year (see also: phone and data plan costs).
Is there a workaround I can use in order to use Google Voice for voicemail on Verizon?
