Viewsonic has a new Android powered all-in-one display with the VSD240. The 24-inch display will be running Android 4.1 with a 1.7GHz quad-core processor inside. Some other featurees include HDMI, ethernet, WiFi and a 1.3 megapixel camera. The VSD240 will ship in April and expected to be around $499.

We happened to see it in person at a CES-related event here in Vegas, and our quick assessment is that the screen is responsive, and the design chintzy. (Just look at that tacky plastic.) In addition to that 1080p display, it packs a 1.7GHz quad-core Tegra 3 chip.

We got the opportunity to take a peek at the ViewSonic VSD240 24-inch Smart Display, what’s essentially an oversized tablet on a stand working with an NVIDIA processor inside. This machine works with a full touch display attached to an NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor.

Normally, such negative space is pretty much negligible on most Android devices, since they normally fit in the palm of your hand. But when blown up to scale, it's this large area that appears to not be used.
