conclusion:We like it

The Western Digital My Passport portable drive may not be the fastest drive available, and it may not have swappable docks like the gdgt Must-have Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex. But it does offer something you'll find in few other portable drives: capacities of up to 2TB. Like most recent portable drives, it's also USB 3.0-compatible, so you'll get better speeds when you pair it with a newer laptop. If you need maximum capacity on the run, this is the one to get.

I have 5 WD 2 gig Passports. 2 Failed and it will cost over $1500.00 to recover what ever data can be recovered. Unfortunately the warranty does not cover the loss of time, business or revenues.
