No Warlock, Skipping Illhoof.

So, can we become neutral or friendly with all murlocs? So that we don't get zerged by them trying to do something else?

(I know, it's more like Ogri'la, but still)
The graphics engine, the code that actually renders stuff, has nothing to do with the artwork, models, or textures. Blizzard would be better off, at this point, starting from scratch and building a completely new game world to undertake that mess.

Improvements to the rendering engine would probably work towards updating the code to take advantage of 4 years of technological changes... DX9, OpenGL2 finally going mainstream, low-end hardware that's capable of a few more special effects. We'd see shader implementation for effects, and some changes in the way things would be rendered. MAYBE we might see the bump mapping applied as a physical distortion (vertex shaders) instead of an illusion.

The only practical artwork to change would be character models, items, and some special effects. I think most of the people here have said it enough, they'd like to see more variation in character models. Mind you, nobody is EVER going to tell if my Warrior has red or green eyes.

Personally, I'd like to be able to choose my toon's voice. Last raid I was in was a bunch of male Dwarves and Humans. It sounded like 2 guys in a very vocal wrestling match.
My on board intel audio works out of the box in XP, Vista, OS X, hell, even Qt Embedded.

You're buying this for your e-peen, not because it works.
WoW was designed from the ground up, in every single aspect, to balance two factions as evenly as possible: everything from starting cities to classes to battlegrounds, available zones, and lore.

That duality is the core mechanic of the MMO.

There simply is no way to include such a change at this point. Now... the next MMO that Blizzard comes out with? quite possibly. Expect all factions to be perfectly balanced, but with some common goal.
I can has shinies?
Hook me up please, I'm all out of deodorant.
Is it can be Tool Time nao plz?
Is it can be TV time plz?
What's not going to happen: Blizzard modifies the terrain or modelling. WSG hasn't seen a change yet, and it isn't going to. If anything, Alterac Valley needs it (or in my opinion, just alternate which faction starts at which end of the field).

The BGs were not designed for the kind of the infinite grinding battle that geared out 70s are capable of now. Changes should be made to the gameplay: debuffs for going into the enemy graveyard if your flag isn't there, modifications to honor gained per kill or kill assist (I'm a priest)- WSG has never been about bonus honor.

Maybe- this is just a thought- tie in amount of honor gained to the faction reputation, and accrue something similar to rest XP for it. It's the concept of diminishing returns. Once you've hit 70, and grinded out for the PvP gear, there's no reason to go back in except for dailies, right? Once you hit Exalted with Warsong or Silverwing, earn money instead of reputation. If you have "Rested Rep", the amount of rep and honor you gain is increased. As you go up through the ranks, the amount of honor you can get is decreased (or increased).

People used to PvP because the honor was relative. Now it's just a money counter. So, either the prices of PvP rewards need to be dropped some, honor gained needs to be increased, or more rewards in general need to be made available. Perhaps all three.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
