I can't believe CES is even tolerating this sort of thing. It seems to be accepted in China that provided the legwork for an innovative design is done outside the country, it's fair game to steal it and sell it under your own name. Hope Apple come down hard on these bootlegging knock-off two-faced two-bit thiefs.
There is one miserable advantage for us HD-DVD users (mine's in my laptop - d'oh!):

There's going to be some good sales on all the HD-DVD media and movies in the next few weeks.
That's a typical motorway junction in the UK just past Bristol. It's only showing one side of the motorway there, and if you can imagine the road splitting at that point, it's advising you to stay on the M5.
What's the chance of Sony releasing a firmware update to let us 700-series users do the same thing? The devices look physically identical.
Current favourite is Flight Simulator X... but then I am training to be an airline pilot so I suppose it fits! :-)

Surely this is actually fraud on the part of CompUSA - they advertised a camera for sale, not an empty box, and they must be obliged to honour that.
Looks like this could be running a modified version of NavnGo's i-Go software.

"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
