@steve I take it your comment is aimed at the iPhone? I'm assuming you have not used one. It's quite simple to use maps, email, safari etc whilst simultaneously having a phone conversation (multitasking). Just put the call on speaker, press the home button and open the app you require. The call is indicated at the top of the screen by a green glowing bar which you can press to return to the phone app.
Awesome. Definitely taken some influence from scene in Transformers with the Nokia in the glass box
Why does the screen have small dots all over it? (image 14)
Apple aren't shipping macs with OS9. Unlike the netbook manufactures who are shipping with XP
@Rick You can look up info on the web or look up your notes etc whilst being on the phone. Just press the home button when your on the call, the call is minimized to the top of the home screen and you can access other apps.
We'll have to wait and see, i bought mine from an O2 store along with two friends in a small town up north, and the queue had about 15 in it. I gotta say i'm more than happy with mine, it's the best bit of kit i've ever bought!
it comes with a stand by the looks of things

In the box
iPod touch
Earphones
USB 2.0 cable
Dock adapter
Polishing cloth
Stand
Quick Start guide
I'm pretty sure the invite states this event will be strictly mac, no ipod or iphone announcements today folks. But you never know!
and we STILL don't have TV shows or Movies
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
