For some reason, people think that EDGE is a 3G technology. Unfortunately, it's not. It qualifies as a 2.5G technology, and Engadget detailed nicely the latency issues, and real world speed, which is sub-par.
Oh, that's not called a fanboy, that's called a bandwagon jumper!
SWEET my first published tip!
Yeah! And because everyone else is doing we should too! Even though it's inferior technology, it's still better!
Unfortunately, it doesn't love you as much as you Mac users love themselves.
This isn't new... This has been a law in Minnesota for like a year and a half... I really don't notice a difference, people still suck at driving.
I use 5 Operating Systems. I love them all in their own ways. Windows XP, Linux, FreeBSD, Mac OS X, and Solaris for work. I guess ScoViz for work also.
I think this is a good idea. You get speed and efficiency without taking a bite out of your wallet, with enough horsepower. I still have a single core :-p and it works fine for me though. At least AMD is trying. I'm not a fanboy but I love AMD.
haha I think it's more so line-of-sight though when they say that.
I think it's down to every 6 months now. It sure seems that way.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
