Still with the ps/2 eh?

I still haven't figured out why it's so hard to make a USB/DVI KVM switch, but apparently it's insanely hard since every new one of these things that come out is either USB/VGA or PS2/DVI.

By the time they get them out, there will be a new video connector standard available.
Clearly the "This is Sparta" scene. Come on, daddy needs an Xbox.
Damn... I like Apple stuff, but they really, really need to get out of the business of designing anything that goes into your ear. Looks like they glued a crappy bluetooth stick to one of their canal-wrecking ear buds.
$500 bucks and no ethernet connector? What's the point of a big storage solution if you've gotta set it up as a share on one computer?

Too bad. Seems like a neat toy.
Wow, 105 Powersupplies and he didn't include a single unit from PC Power and Cooling, one of the best, if not THE best powersupply makers for computers.
Drat.. I thought that said mime killer.
FYI.. none of this stuff works any better than rocking a baby to sleep all by yourself. Yeah, it's a horribly manual process that actually requires you to hold said baby for an unknown, yet hopefully finite period of time.
Ugh.. what a quandary. On one hand, I despise Bose. On the other hand, this is exactly what I want to replace the stock unit that came in my Nissan Versa.
With so many LCD options in the 40-50" range coming down below 2 grand, why on earth is Sharp coming out with screens that are twice as much money?

On top of that, you've got Samsung getting ready to release models with 10000:1 contrast ratios and Sharp can only push out 3000:1? That's pretty damn pathetic. I couldn't give a rat's ass about all the various input options if they can't tackle the core issues, namely, picture quality and price point.
Maybe it's me, but doesn't it seem like all of these "deals" on TVs are just scams to liquidate all of their 720p inventory?

The model numbers are almost always very similar VP42 vs. P42, etc. They list a bunch of unimportant technical specs and bury the important stuff.

To me, they're just jerking consumers around, trying to offload the marginal stuff and what looks like a good deal, but you can bet the companies involved are still making money. Makes me wonder where else they're cutting corners on the products being offered.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
