Possible new Windows Mobile 7 mockups give 6.5 a well-deserved spanking {Engadget Mobile}

Oct 21st 2009 12:51AM Holy cow there's full names and office numbers in that pic. It probably is real as the mobile guys are in those buildings. Someone's probably in deep trouble for this.

IronKey boasts 'world's most physically and cryptographically secure' thumb drive {Engadget}

Jul 13th 2009 6:06PM Awesome guys, now a cracker just has to break through glass in your house instead of AES256 to get to your data. Way to circumvent the security.

Sprint first to offer a 99-cent netbook, but is it worth it? {Engadget}

Jul 7th 2009 4:25PM @Josh "3000 plus over a 2 year period"

um $3112 / 24 = $129.95 uh that's like if you get unlimited everything or something, base plans are $70 + taxes, so it's similar to this. I agree with your point (if you're getting this service *anyways* yes you get a $1 netbook), but you're math is off.

Sony Pictures to smarten up Blu-ray with MovieIQ, the "killer app for BD-Live" {Engadget}

Jun 19th 2009 5:47PM @Micheal

Yeah but that's the only thing that would. Plus, if you're looking up that info, I'd rather just be at IMDB or Netflix where I can then click the link to the latest move to see what that one is about, or click related actors or anything else as I'll probably be in that mode. Also the factoids and what music is playing is the most interesting.

Or why not do a combination of both? So offline BD players (which is probably every non-PS3) can use it at least somewhat.

Pre gets NES emulation in Linux; our thumbs are in for a world of hurt {Engadget}

Jun 19th 2009 5:37PM What's relevant is that the modder community got it together working in 2 weeks after the phone's release without an official SDK or such, not that it's possibe - we all knew it was.

Microsoft confirms new Xbox 360 Arcade systems are bumped to 512MB {Engadget}

Jun 18th 2009 4:31PM I bought a box of Pops today and it had an offer for a Star Trek 1GB flash drive, so 2cents is about right, considering of the $3 that flash drive is worth $2.98 goes to licensing Star Trek's IP.

Jun 17th 2009 2:04PM woo flash memory always need more.

AT&T relents a little, lets iPhone 3G customers with upcoming upgrade dates buy 3G S at full subsidy {Engadget}

Jun 17th 2009 1:55PM So, instead of complaining about no MMS, which everyone with a cheap ass flip phone has had for years, you complain about wanting the company to subsidize your phone, when you already have a great phone, months early, when everyone else and their dog understand that it's cheap because of the money they make OVER TIME on contracts?

Whiney dumb bitches. I want to have my old man and his flip phone to stop making fun of me cause he can't send me MMSes.

Symbian looks to seduce iPhone devs with free Nokia 5800s, world destroying robo-duckie {Engadget}

Jun 8th 2009 11:05PM I used to work at a mobile software development company where our product was on Palm, Windows Mobile, Blackberry (very scaled down version) and Symbian. I was on the Palm team and the Symbian guys told me horror stories, and some of the restrictions there were nuts, not to mention we had to do all these different versions for UIQ, S60, S80, etc. They need to unify and get it together.

Too much cellphone news on Engadget? {Engadget}
