Why would you install Android on it? It already has Windows and OS X on it, two far more functional operating systems than Android. Provided they run fast on the system (which it should, looking at the specs), they are far superior to android
Hopefully it wont say "XPERIA" under the screen like the leaks, cheapens the design in my opinion.
Windows Vista is now behind us, we do not need to mention it any more :P
Microsoft has over 90,000 employees with about 36,000 in research and development. Personally I blame the management as there is no doubt that Microsoft has the talent and brains to make great software. Microsoft needs new management who can ensure that the resources available are put to best use.
Why don't they use the shell of the envy 13 for all their laptops, that way more people will be tempted to buy their laptops as they look very high quality even though it would probably barely affect their actual cost of production. Same with dell, why don't they just use a thicker version of the adamo casing with the inspiron laptops. I think we are at the point where even the low budget laptops are good enough for what most people do and most people are now buying their laptops based on the looks.
And so people undust their old sidekicks and demand money.
Nothing annoys me more than when a small trackpad is used when there is space for a huge one. In my opinion bigger is better. (Dell is worst offender using the smallest possible trackpads on HUGE laptops.)
Nokia has supposedly got a new interface for symbian in the works using the QT toolkit which they now own (the one used in KDE), although, if I remember it is scheduled to be released at around 2010/2011.
Microsoft's E3 alone destroyed this conference.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
