I have not seen a blue screen of death since I migrated from Windows 98 to Windows 2000, and can't remember when I last saw any of my three Windows computers freeze.

I like OSX too, but I do get tired of applications that simply stop running and vanish. This happens to me pretty much daily on OSX. I've never experienced it on Windows.
That first commercial is actually a pretty accurate reproduction of the look and feel of a TV special originally produced 45 years ago. They usually get it wrong, especially in commercials.
Great, I've been looking for some oversized novelty cuff links.
The Nook would be a HUGE hit if it was priced in the $90 - $120 range. As it is, people all over are cutting back on non-essential spending, and the current price for this thing puts it in the category of luxury electronics.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
