Very sexy. Coupled with a colour screen this looks very promising, it hinges on the ease of use really. Metal case looks very business like, this might well appeal to the business users. Hopefully the metal means it's durable as well.

And on a side note, DS all your comments are the same and totally pointless. Fine, you love apple's design, we got the idea in your first post, don't need another 20-odd repeating the same thing.
#1, Windows have released minimum spec for Vista now, and it isn't really that bad, the only problem that people are going to have is with graphics on the most part, everything else is pretty much on par for the average user. My desktop which is about 4 years old meets the minimum spec on everything but the graphics. 800Mhz minimum spec processor; most computers can meet that. the RAM is cheap to upgrade, graphics not so much, but that's only if you want the Aero interface.
aAmusicphone with a measly 10MB internal memory? I'm sorry, but that's completely pathetic, my k750i has 35Mb built in, and you can whine all you want that the phone has support for external memory; so does mine. No self branded 'musicphone' should have such a low built in memory. Plus you only get a 256mb card with it. So the first thing you're going to have to do is go out and buy yourself a larger card. Dissapointing SE, very dissapointing.
Hm...tough call. If creative had this patent so long ago, they really should have acted on this infringement back when iPod was still young, and they could have silently taken it out. But no, only when Apple is a household name do they decide to act upon it, when the Apple community will flare up and scream 'no creative ripped off apple's design!!' . Personally I've never had time for a iPod, the lack of .wma support and just general lack of features on the interface leads me time and time again to Creative. In my opinion Creative have a case, but chances are Apple will win. And Creative will pay the legal costs. That's what you get for sitting on a patent like that until it's too late.
Wait....ripping Cd's to mp3 players is illegal here? When did this happen?? Do they expect us to buy all our music off the internet or something? What a load of bullsh*t.
This is getting ridiculous, if all this hype is to be believed then, what, 25% of the current PC systems people have will be able to run Vista? It doesn't make sense. Vista will probably be able to run on entry-level computers, because let's face it, Windows XP ideally needs 512Mb of RAM to run smoothly, but it will run on under 128 with a 500Mhz Processor fine, until you start installing stuff and ...yeah. But it will run. Bets are on that no matter what Microsoft say, Vista will run on most of today's computers, because Microsoft can't realistically expect everyone to go and buy new computers or upgrade just for their new operating system when they've got one that works just fine. And if they do think that's what people are going to do, well this is one person that's perfectly happy using windows xp, and won't be shelling out any more money on hardware just to run a high-spec operating system.
I agree with #49. Surely you would show the processor section first, but notice how the filmer only vaguely concentrates on it, and doesn't let the camera get a focus on the spec. He was all too happy to do it when windows was installing and he was showing the files that were installing, but when it comes to showing the spec in system properties, he doesn't feel it's worth showing clearly? Something dodgy there if you ask me. But all the same, it does look really authentic.
This seems to be directed at a market somewhere between a pocket pc and a laptop. So...is it just a pocket pc that has a nice big screen and better functions, or a mini tablet pc?? Origami? Is there a posh for word for 'what the hell' , cos that's what i'm thinking at the moment! And for goodness sake give the apple comments a rest, this has nothing to do with them!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
