Pretty chill! Thanks for the credits EnG!
"Kinda difficult to bring down an airplane with a gun or a sword. Lasers, however, have already been used to blind pilots at altitude."
@Jeff: That's why most planes have guns on them.
Engadget, these giveaways rock!! This is the best site, EVER!
Don't worry, Apple doesn't hate you. :) But old man Jobs just might "accidentally" release a virus in one of the updates that wipes out your hacked iPhone. I can see him now... "Man, you really screwed that one up, what'd you do, hack it?" But at least Apple doesn't hate you.

To quote a great song:
"Hate is a strong word, but I really really really don't like you.
I want!
A B.C. Rich Avenge Son of the Beast. This baby rocks. Plus I use STRIKE on my macbook for virtual drums. That, coupled with my macbook makes for AWESOME effects and songs. I totally recommend it. The line in rocks. I don't really use it much because I use my M-Audio Black Box for amps and effects. I would use the built in ones, but the black box sounds great and I got it for $200 at guitarcenter.com. If you wanna use the line-in, I recommend the griffin iGuitar cable. But, I suggest a usb solution for maximum performance, such as this: http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/JamLab-main.html . Like I said I totally recommend the Macbook just for that.
Oops I meant weigh.^
Dave, I am going to way in here and take a gamble. I think I read you play guitar and for that plus the reasons everyone else told you, you should get a mac. Mac is just so awesome with music and instruments and the like, that I use it more than my $3000 sound board with my axe.
Hey, if this had 1 gb of ram... does anyone know if it could run os X?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
