Sweet! So in order to watch Blu-Ray, I'll have to use a probably overpriced adapter with my overpriced iMac.. Or use a non-mac computer with a Blu-Ray drive for much less overall... I'll go with the non-Mac. Cause, you know, it just works.
I followed this project on their forums for a while. I don't have the motivation to make custom cases like that, but it's interesting to see how those guys put things together from scratch. Nice outcome!
The seed 2.0 is one of my favorite roots songs.. Phrenology ftw!
Looks like HP uses more superior hardware than Apple does. How to the fanboys justify the price difference now?
Can I get a Mac mini with a hdmi and an esata for under 300 bucks? Even a blu-ray drive for under 400? If I'm investing in a small PC I'm not looking for power, I'm looking for convenience. I'm not looking to create movies, just watch em' and answer my email. That price point can't be beat. Fanboys need to troll elsewhere. I haven't had a Mac since my G4 tower and have no intentions of going back for the overpriced white plastic.
I'll take functionality over looks any day.. Besides, it'll be in my pocket the rest of the time.... I'm an iphone user, and I'm making the switch to Verizon.
I like how they tried to make the dude all hip with the guitar, weights, shag carpet and stuff... But they're completely overlooking the fact that dude would really be taking advantage of the all that sunshine we can see outside that window. And probably just skating in front of a K Mart or a mall or something...
@ jakem

Not many in my opinion. I only use three apps, sportacular for scores/stats, boxing timer for interval circuits and the weatherbug for radar. That's it. That's 999,997 apps that are no good to me.

Different strokes for different folks I guess.

Android supports flash though, right? Can any of those 100,000 apps help with that?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new laptop, and I want a 13-incher. I need something with a great keyboard for typing, as this will mostly be used for note taking in class. I am absolutely smitten with the XPS 13, but I'm afraid that with its age Dell is going to give it an update soon. Any advice for someone in my shoes?"
