"Having CES just days before MACWorld was an unfortunate coincidence."

Was it an unfortunate coincidence last year too? Everybody and their mother knows it goes Billgate and THEN Stevegate. Steve's learned not to let anyone see his toys before he gets credit where credit is due.
I would love to fly to NYC from Seattle. That would be the bomb.
No, really, that's a damn good point. If MS really want to stick it to Apple at their own game they need to let Mac users see what the grass is like on the other side. OK, the Mac user base may be 10%, but if the majority of those 10% are the people who supposedly like to throw money away at shiny new objects then they would be a shoo in, no?
According to some ( http://www.roughlydrafted.com/2007/11/08/why-leopards-time-machine-doesnt-support-airport-disks/ ), this was nixed because if there is a power failure or any other sort of break in connection while performing a backup there may be major loss of data. Something to do with verifying the data after receiving it instead of just receiving and accepting that as job done... 10.5.1 and an Airport firmware update will hopefully give us all the sexy backuping we've ever wanted.
I think I'm gonna go ICECREAM!!!!
Yeah, you could totally use these guys to draw the suckers in... they come a little closer to get a look and then BAM!! You got em before they even saw it comin. It's all about that stealth marketing baby, yeeah.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
