OH HELLZ YEAH!

GIMME!
Well, my "third" leg is still here so safe to say, we're all alive and breathing.

The world didn't end... yet.

Be right back, I got to put some WD-40 on my crowbar.
Yeah that was good comment! LOL
We should group the BMW X6, Crosstour and anything that fit such "category" and shove them down some sewer drain.

Keep wagon away from CUV and CUV away from SUV and wagon and make their design not stick out like an ugly stick that refuse to break.

This "category" is like in-breeding between family members, incestuous in fact in a very bad way.
Why not the best of both worlds?

We've seen instant-on OS built into BIOS being added to upcoming laptops, how about replace them with ChromeOS?

I see this as mostly for netbooks, laptops if you aren't doing anything CPU/GPU-intensive and need quick access, MIDs, and small desktops/nettops for the computer illiterate population.

And, if want to go do something more intensive, then switch to the primary OS. It'd be nice to see this as a standard feature and install it to some SSD or small SSD on a laptop, able to switch between the two-- primary and secondary OS.
Great looking sight, finally I don't have to log back in just to comment. That got on my nerves. Hope this applies to Autoblog and Download Squad, two other sites here that require me to APPROVE my log-in everytime I have to comment. Do you know if that is fixed too?
If I had the cash, I'd buy Buell myself from Harley-Davidson and spin it off as its own company making motorcycles. There'll be competition though-- Harley itself, Ducati, Kawasaki, Honda, etc.

When I see these companies closed down, it just makes me wish I had the money to them off and let them continue running so the employees will still have jobs. I'd do the same for Saturn as well.

I decided to ask Adobe themselves about that compatibility list for GPUs, and why a lot more Nvidia GPUs are supported than ATI or Intel.
Isn't it a bit... monopolistic of Nvidia and unfair on Adobe's part to have GPU-acceleration of H.264 video on select ATI and Intel chips, yet support a wide range of GeForce-based mobile and desktop GPUs?

This is supposed to be the next version and next iteration of Flash-- version 10.1. This isn't supposed to be an Nvidia-mostly-exclusive software upgrade. And, according to the other article on Engadget, this only benefits the most those who have Nvidia GPUs, especially ION-based chipsets.

There is already GPU-acceleration in the current version, but it's still not much. And, version 10.1 is supposed to be a marked improvement over it. Now, it's looking like the only improvement will benefit Nvidia more than its competitors.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
