lets get a lil crazy here:
Upgradeable GPU's for the PS3 since this console is supposed to last for 10yrs

lets be conservative:
Some kind of mobile video player

Only if Sony would have made the MDs open sourced like CDs were i'm sure they would've caught on, and now with UMDs there still not opening them up to 3rd party burners and writers... Oh sony how you have not learned, no amount of UMD players will make UMD succesful beyond the PSP games

*smacks sony on the nose* "NO!!! thats a bad Sony! Don't make me rub your nose in the MD failure"

But lets hope nVidia does something good with sony
old Billy Goats, i mean Gates kinda stole the original MacOS and made windows off of it, so it wouldn't surprise me

Windows = worlds most succesful knock-off
when game developers make a game cross platforms they uild for the inferior consoles first. this way they won't have to build a killer game for the stronger console, then have to rebuild it at the weaker consoles specs.. and the early buzz is the PS3 is the stronger console, so that means game developers will build 360 games first. since the 360 can't do 1080p that means cross platform games will almost never be made to 1080p. look for sony exclusive titles to be possibly made up to 1080p spec

sorry for the bad grammar i don't feel like being proper
all i have to say RL-FPS its a new genre... Real Life First Person Shooter... frame rates are insane
all we need now are some RFID tags, to turn on/off Friendly Fire
Motorola really hit the nail on the head with the Razor and SLVR phone designs.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
