Because they hope that one day they will create a cognitive being. If it is in fact true that all that makes us human is stored physically in our brain then it is certain that one day we will be able to create mechanical humans.

Remember that this is an Italian advertisement, not targeted at Americans.
Usabillity aside, windows mobile 6.1 doesn't take full advantage of the snapdragon hardware eg no native support for OMAP3. This alone is a major deal breaker which will hopefully be solved in future windows mobile releases.
Except that this machine draws like no human i've ever seen before.

Though the video camera would still have to pan around your head.
Oh dear, imagine the irritation of photobooths multiplied by the amount of photos of your head it'll have to take, whilst you remain perfectly still, to get a 3d picture.

I use a pc without any anti virus or antispyware and i haven't gotten any malware in 5 years.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
