You did a review of a NAS device without a speed test?
I really need one of these. PLEASE.
Wow... Apple copies Linux?

Ever heard of NeXTStep/OpenStep?

OS X is BSD (which is actually Unix), not "based on" Linux (which is a Unix variant).
Monday? Whatever, I still want one!
Please!
I'll be there. Free food!!
http://osxbook.com/book/bonus/chapter7/binaryprotection/index.html

OS X already uses a form of encryption for binaries (the most important binaries, anyway). The way to get it to boot on regular PCs is to circumvent that encryption module.

I believe that is also included in the Apple Lawsuit, but could be wrong.
I'll keep all of it. I haven't thrown out any electronics (or the boxes they came in) in years..

My room is a mess.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
