iPhone 3G BRICKED!!!!! Downloaded, installed, iTunes complained it couldn't contact the iTunes store, now the phone is inoperable except for emergency calling.
Sports! As a sports official, I need an app to help me officiate.
U uber tech geeks still don't get it. You're all mystified over some weird hand illustrations. Here's the deal, we've known this was coming. In Jan/Feb? 2005 Stevie spoke about how educational institutions were wasting vast amount of resources printing textbooks, making college students pay semester after semester for the same content in the form of 'new' textbooks. He lambasted publishers and academia alike for their taking advantage of captive student's 'needs.'

Imagine having an iPhone/iPod Touch 'like' device only larger.

Windows is a desktop/laptop OS, however, MS has tried to put it on handhelds and tablets only to fail time and time again.

Apple built an entirely new OS interface (based on OS X) that works great on handhelds....and presumably would work great on a tablet/ iBook.

With the iTunes digital distribution mechanism already in place, they've no doubt got a winner in the makings....the challenge will be to get the publishers lined up.
I'll use it for the iPad, the new eBook reader from Apple due this Christmas!
Could you share the exact dimensions of your cutouts? I'd like to see some blueprints, etc. I built a home theatre, just need a projector to go with it, my current one is on the fritz.
You know, I NEVER hear anyone walking through the halls at work talking about buying a PC...it's ALWAYS about how they want to 'get a Mac.'

Engadget is filled with gadget mayhem...at least Apple gets it right...they give us something to look forward to....a SURPRISE.

By the time M$ next product(s) ship, it's OLD NEWS and boring. At least with Apple's announcements, I have something to look forward to, and it's usually cool.
Here's a simpler solution:

1/2" sheet of MDF from Home Depot - $15.95
16oz bottle of Titebond III wood glue - $7.99
1qt Sherwin Williams enamel primer $7.99
1qt Sherwin Williams blend $5.99
8oz Sparkling White Pearlescence $11.00

Cut MDF to 48"x83" - this will give a 1.5" perimeter border leaving 45"x80" final screen window with a 92" diagonal. Put whatever border you'd like on it.

Spread Titebond III glue all over one side.

Stick it on the wall(assuming wall is covered with sheet rock)

Paint with primer, then with blend mixed with 8oz pearlescence.

Not much construction, Home Depot cut the dimensions for me so I didn't even have to cut it.

Less than $50 and it works great!!
When you wish upon a star.....
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
