Herd of bison?

Of course I've heard of bison!
You could always hire a European roving reporter. It'd lower your costs (although you'd still fork out $30 of expenses for each beer they drank). I'm UK/France based and always up for it...!

Interestingly, your sister blog Autoblog had the no-press-freebies rule for a while but they do now accept things like flights and accomodation, albeit stating so in their posts.
Entries limited to the US only?

Come on Joystiq, 2002's the Global Year of Cooperation, can't the rest of the world get involved?

After all, by 2008 we'll all be living in one giant Earthwide country with one global currency.
Bar pretty high?

Did you hear James Allen?
Shrug. I know it's a matter of opinion but I'm happy to pay the £135 a year just to get no adverts and programmes like Doctor Who and The Office.

I love not being interrupted in my programmes every 5 minutes by adverts for Cillit Bang and the like.

'sides, with freeview you get loads of BBC channels - BBCs 1, 2, 3 and 4, Parliament, News, CBBC, CBeebies and others.
Loctop.

In the same way that low cost airlines are now known as locos, call these loctops as they tend to cost less.

This way the Macbook air is definately not a loctop.

Wordsmithing neologisms is fun.
The CBC's jPod.

It was really flying along when it got cancelled. If you're in Canada it's still available to watch on the CBC website.
Yeah, me too.

I put my 3G orange sim in a few weeks back in the hopes that something might happen - pixies, fairies, some kind of bizarre world in which Ballmer shouts 'Developers' into everyone's dining rooms in a Brave New World-esque manner - but nothing happened. I was disappointed.

Guess I'll have to stick to using the old mobile as a modem, then.
Proprietary software?!

It runs through flash player...
Err, it's the name of the car.

Next thing you know, you'll want to change the name of the Ford Five Hundred in case you confuse it with the sequel to 300...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
