haven't tried the hdmi-out so far, waiting for my new pio 919 ;)
subtitles are no problem :)
ever heard of silence? ;)
you'll never get a htpc near silent as the tv station :)
Does it support dts hd and dolby digital+?
and dvd and blu ray menues.

those are the selling points for me!

their firmware-update mentality just plainly sucks, only one update for the first generation model and now they are throwing revision 2 at us :/
with a very strange haircut, i'd mention that too! ;)
the first one already plays dvd/bluray-isos, but only the longest file without the menu :/
if they changed that with the second version, i'll buy it without hesitation!
those sounds are annoying. haven't heard any with my lumix fz3 so far, have to try it in a low noise environment next ^^
the still fotos of the ep1 do look nice!
me wilson? heck never :-p

btw the lg has a bluray-burner and those notebooks only a dvd-burner. read the text carefully next time ;)
@house wannabe

so you get a laptop with a bluray burner for 600€? show me and i buy it asap!
@mike: no, i for one haven't.
hulu's not working in germany if i am correct!
@hydeph you have no idea what you're talking about. chrysler was the worst thing that could happen to a prosperous firm like daimler. way behing in technology and designwise almost every car was crap!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
