OK - I'm weird. I want a Zune to replace my Zen Touch.
Not sure how much of it I could put to immediate use -- but who can resist TOYS?!?!?!
Fuck sportier -- there are some of us who need headroom because we are over 6ft tall. And then there are those that prefer to drive something that does have their ass hovering 3 inches above the pavement.
But then, I traded my 1998 Ford F-150 in for Honda Element back in 2006 - rather unconventional for a Texan, as well as being over 45.

I see this a perfect platform for all those florists and other delivery / service oriented businesses that are currently running PT Cruisers, HHRs, Scion xBs, and Elements -- an electric fleet vehicle (and plenty of flat space to apply full-body advertising graphics).
Yeah Visual Basic 2.0 (and all versions since). Without it, I couldn't afforded all the gadgets I have bought.
I really hate this lawsuit -- I've bought 3 Creative MP3 players for myself in the past 10 years and I really wish everyone would just tell the plantiff and the lawyers to "Fuck off!".
But in this age when everyone is looking for something free (when they really haven't been damaged -- or over-value their perceived damages), I suspect everyone will think they need to be compensated even if they didn't realize they might have been mislead.
I suspect that this will spell the end of my Creative purchases because they will either be too expensive (to cover themselves in case another jackhole decides to sue them over stupid shit) or the units will only be availabe in Singapore.
Maybe if more people bought the 10, 20, and 30gig units (like I did) and not the 32, 64K models they wouldn't care if their unti wouldn't hold the "advertised capacity".
Now I get to go through all the hassle of submitting all the paperwork to tell the plantiff and the lawyers what asswipes they are.
Gimme - gotta go.
Me want --- NOW!
Well, my current Shures replaced my Etymotic ER-4Ps -- and are suffering the same problem -- they are breaking from the constant winding / unwinding between work and the airport / airplane / hotel (and I await my Ultimate Ears to suffer the same fate). I need some new, free earbuds so I can get a better ROI (but then I can get about 1 - 2 years out of each quality pair of headphones -- but have ditched others due to suboptimal sound reproduction / noise cancelling properties).
I'd love to get my hands on a Helio Ocean (but I wonder if I can justify the expense of the access plan -- I am currently not a cell phone user / owner, I use dialup at home, I haven't had cable since 2001 -- and I do most of my surfing / e-mailing / IMing on the corporate network).
It looks like a South Park bin Laden to me (that's where he's been hiding!).
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
