8.5 lbs....I thought things were supposed to be getting lighter? I have a 17" precision with quadro (fans whirling right now) and it is very nice. Also, I don't mind the weight, but lighter would be nice.

HP Sucks Arse. I boycott them and bombpaq for 5 years and very happy. I have to load an HP print driver on my lappie for a customers printer - a half hour later and 1gig of excess shiot later - I can print. WTF HP - no one wants your extra baggage. Thought I was rid of you!!!
