Aug 26th 2008 8:46PM I disagree. The main company pursuing battery hybrids -- Toyota, is lucrative. The Prius(which I'm sure everyone is tired of hearing about) is outselling production.
Therefore batteries are a strength not a weakness.
That people will strain themselves to suggest otherwise with these ridiculous, unfounded, theories hints at a political motivation rather than a scientific one.
I wish companies like GM and Ford would *get over it* and realize it will take more than shady innuendos and lies to make progress.
