yep i watched the video, here in Poland this story made headlines. the fact is they could solve this situation without taser, and avoid unnecessary victim. thet treated him like he was some terrorist, yet all he wanted is to get his luggage, thats sad.
40yo Pole was killed by this device in Canadian airport :( he didnt speak english, and waited 10hours for his luggage, no wonder he got angry. but he wasn't agressive at all and those canadian $@##% tasered him many times, till he died. it should be banned
i want one too!! sadly in Poland it'll be probably twice that price :( the old psp is still 699zl ( $ 250 ) for base pack :( how it is possible that in rich countries like USA and Japan that kind of stuff is always cheaper than in poorer countries???
price is ok, anyway i'll wait for minor producers to hit the market with their hddvd and bluray players. as for now anly few big companies offers such devices, and you pay for the logo 'toshiba' etc
it would be already possible , if only battery producing companies had commercialized technologies they already have. in example titanate electrode lithium-ion batteries which carries 4times as much energy as normal li-ion battery, charges in 10minutes, and works for 20000 charges. but they prefer to sell standard li-ion batteries which usually last for no more than 2 years, pure profit.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
