Storm your shops! DS Lite street date broken [update 2] {Joystiq}

May 31st 2006 4:22PM Sweet I found a store in Maryland that has them. Said they put about 30-40 on the shelf about an hour ago. I can't get there for about another hour or so because I'm still at work. Hopefully they have it when I get there!

Street Fighter II on XBLA priced, dated -- Cloning Clyde announced {Joystiq}

Apr 7th 2006 2:24PM To those of you complaining about the gamepad sucking for fighters, you are right. The xbox and the 360 controllers are just horrible for fighters. That's why I went and built a joystick for 360, in time for SF2. Unfortunately I've had to wait longer than expected for SF2 to drop.

Anyways, here is a link to the tutorial I created if you want to make your SF:AC joystick (or any joystick for that matter) work on the 360.

How-to: re-wire an arcade joystick for the Xbox 360 {Joystiq}

Mar 3rd 2006 3:48PM You could very easily do it w/a wireless controller, however you would need the battery pack part exposed at all times so if it runs out, you can take it off and charge it or put new batteries on. Also, even though we don't really notice it, there is a millisecond delay w/the wireless controllers. And since the joystick is mainly for fighters, timing is everything.

It really is not hard to do. It is not as hard as it looks. I'm going to wire up the headset plug once I get some more wire. I'm out of wire and couldn't make em long enough to mount the controller in the correct spot so the headset plug would be exposed.

Hacked Street Fighter joystick for the Xbox 360 {Engadget}

Mar 3rd 2006 2:52PM Yup I created one from arcade parts for PSX back in the day, which is what got me thinking about this one. With SF2 coming out soon, and UMK3 announced ... a joystick for the 360 is a must :)
