thanks wil!

folks, keep in mind that this is a *kit* for learning. you get it, you build it, you learn, you 100% own it - it's one of the only open source mp3 player kits in the world and i'd like to see more open source hardware projects get out there in kit form.

for the fellow who only wants a low paid chinese worker to do everything for them... i hope your grandkids enjoy your choices :)
wow, i think ben did this tutorial for me. i have a laser cutter, i'm going to make this shortly.
a sticker voids a warranty?
etchamac does that, we thought it would be more fun to teach people how the laser works.
its for folks who want to entertain the kids or make a center piece, etc -

the law isn't so binary (usually). a jury would need to decide that you, or this org was violating the law. i don't think you'll see a case about an end user like any of us putting our dvds that we own on our ipods that we own, you might see a case against a copy charging for that service...just my opinion. sony went to court and was able to make the vcr (it recorded tv) - i hope sony returns to their herirtage and considers making a dvd recorder too. i did a talk about how-to get your dvds on your ipod video at macworld and this came up a lot. this is all new for a lot of customers and companies, a lot of this is still being figured out and re-worked.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
