I thought people said he couldn't even do emails or the web? So he 'invented' the Blackberry an email/phone/net device? WTF? Someone has been drinking...
GPS then?

I have run Word, Excel and Powerpoint 2008 through Xslimmer and after reading this article thought that I'd probably have to spend an hour or two uninstalling and then reinstalling Office and then configuring it 'how I like it'.

However I thought I'd just have a go at updating it to 1.1.2 and I didn't have any of the issues in the blog post. My install may now be 'unstable', but to be quite honest I found it rather 'unstable' before I slimmed it down!
Isn't this post just screaming to start a fanboy flame war?
Hyperfast scrolling may be good, but on the VX Nano model it comes at the cost of no clickable scrolling wheel. This was a major disappointment as this is how I open new tabs in Firefox and Safari.
Finally they have patched the ridiculous, stupid bug where you couldn't open anything you downloaded from the internet. Honestly, is there any QC for something so basic in Redmond???
The average computer is only in use about 3-5 years, and yet XP will be at the most 4x older than the computer running it. Where is the progress and innovation?

(now waiting for some smart ass to start a Mac flame war...)
The final phase of the deathwatch has begun...
I wish they had one that looked like this for iPods. All the iPod clock radios from iHome look crap. Unfortunately this Zune one actually looks nice, no stupid step design or flashy, glossy plastic.

Release the ZN9 for iPods!!!
That's what I've been wondering. Is it tablet touch screen or like iPhone touch screen? Can you write on it with some sort of stylus or just press buttons in the OS like 'Ok' or 'Shutdown'?

Based on the pics and the fact that there aren't pimping it as a tablet pc, its probably the latter unfortunately.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
