With the improvement that windows 7 bring to the table i think it's a reasonable trade off(You could always disable the Eye Candy off, I am sure battery life would improve)... But if we go by that logic then lets say DOS beats all Operating Systems in the battery life test.... don't see no one wanting to go back to DOS?
I wouldn't pay a cent for the horribly looking bitch!
Rock On Engadget!!!
What is a Slim if it's still FAT?
Funny how fanboys are already screaming Apple invented the tablet... hrrmmm... remember
the tablet was brought forth by Microsoft not Apple but i am sure they will have a field day saying
they did. If you are a business person a tablet is great and even thought MS has not added the eye
candy they are quite usable. Now if you are being sarcastic then you are excuse if not... obvious
mactard!
Hey is this fair at all? Leave it to Engadget to make it sound like PC support is bad! If you check Lenovo(A-[can't figure out why an A-]), Toshiba(A) and others they pretty much scored up there with Apple. By the sound of this Article no one else did at least in 2009.
@uwaga dude

Hey Ape Man get a clue. MS was the one who brought the market of tablets. There are quite a few nice feature fliendly tables out there so please STFU. IF you think this will be a success then think again, this perhaps would be within the fanboys followers but not mainstream.
Poor Apple Fanboys getting Charged for service packs... hahahahah
Microsoft should sue their Arses for using that name.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
