Aetna and other companies already have "Death Panels" in the form of pre-existing conditions geared towards dropping customers that are deemed too unprofitable.

Government run healthcare is FOR the people and POWERED by the people. Private healthcare is for stockholders and profit.

The government has nothing to gain by killing tax-payers and are looking to maintain the system, not make a buck of your suffering.

If you are using OS X... safe bet is to download the Universal Binary version. It contains the 32/64-bit Intel version and the PPC version. You can also check VLC.app with "More Info" to see if it has the option to "Run in 32-bit mode". This let's you know it's a 64-bit app.

They also have separate x64, x32, and PPC builds for those worried about a bit of harddrive space.

I wouldn't mind an extra game for the holidays... nothing like winning a PS3 game when your systems in for repair...

"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
