I guess any ship sinking will bring unhappy memories to someone and certainly there were worse incidents during the Falklands war. Still, doesn't feel right to use a picture of a serious subject to illustrate a light-hearted point in an article.
I have a playlist named Xmas which selects tracks with "Xmas" in the Comments field. It was quick to set up and, when the season comes, is easy to include in sync profiles.
At the moment all I get is "No EyeTV found on the network." which is 100% inaccurate.
I second that. I bought one earlier this year and had it up & running in minutes. As a complete newbie to Linux I found the online community very helpful when I started tweaking the set-up.

There is a now Bubba|Two which can function as a router and firewall and will have WLAN available shortly.
Don't answer it. Even better, turn the phone off. WTF do you think voicemail is for?
Low productivity then
Tired of being called a "geek"?

Ditch those shirts with pocket protectors! Get Collar-Max™ and end the insults today. Available in multiple colours.

Wait, there's more! Use the power of the sun to charge you phone or iPod with a Collar-Max-Plus made form the latest NASA grade photo-voltaic panels.

We are supposed to have free movement of goods & services between countries, IMHO Apple is already in breach of this. However, Apple insists that you have a credit card issued in whichever country your account is registered.
I fly internationally several times a month. There is no consistency and no logic. Laptops in, laptops out; shoes on, shoes off; belts on, belts off; no liquids, liquids (in the Schengen zone). The most recent stupidity I have endured is that a plastic pen in my pocket must go through the machine.

The guys on the line are reveling in enforcing half-understood instructions from their bosses. The bosses are busy justifying their own existence by dreaming up new rules.
@mymaclife: nope, glad to be rid of them & their god-bothering ways.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
