Cowon is known for their sound quality, BUT also HORRIBLE firmwares. I have the iaudio 7 16GB and I don't see the reason to upgrade.
@Dakota C:
horrible argument.
Why don't you compare a laptop with a desktop going by your logic.
If you carry the touch HD, you won't have to carry that eeepc and a cellphone because the HD is an all in one.
Not alot of people have your "baggy pants" that can fit an entire laptop and a cellphone.
No one wants to boot up a laptop to make "skype calls." and battery life ain't that great compared to a cellphone.
Actually Sony Ericsson phones do have 3.5mm jacks already.
I have the X1 and there are a lot of users reporting quality issues like the cases cracking up for no reason. I don't have this problem so I can't really comment how their warranty is.
Your sentence doesn't make much sense.
Yeah I want my 2min back too
Interface looks fairly similar to the Cowon D2. If the player has a good firmware, I may buy this considering that the D2 has a crappy firmware and a little uglier design.
Wonder if this is really better then the htc kaiser. Luckily I haven't took the plunge yet, but hopefully when this phone's released, the kaiser will drop in price.
"you cannot save files, open files from local storage, or anything "advanced" on SplashTop."
All in all, sounds nice, but not really worth this much money. Maybe around 200$ I will get it.
Yeah I have a WM6 PPC edition phone, but browsing the internet on the PPC is a horrible experience because the pages don't load up right. There are too many limitations for the browser. Haven't tried the other browsers because I heard they were really buggy. I hate apple, but I gotta say, the full featured browser looks sweet. Hope WM devices start coming with something like that, then I'll have nothing to complain about.
To the people who get disconnected using the bluetooth sets, update the setpoint driver. Don't use the ones that came on the cd... you have to go to the logitech website and download the latest version. I heard that this fixes the problem
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
