Jul 9th 2009 5:52PM You obviously haven't heard the months of whining about how expensive blu-ray anything is. Pretty soon, Ben will have to rename the site to engadgetSD.

UK Blu-ray sales up 231% over last year {Engadget HD}

Jul 4th 2009 10:18AM Yeah it used to be the players are too expensive. Now, you can get a player for sub $200. The movies are too expensive, now it's common to see $10-16 dollar movies even at best buy. Keep talking, meanwhile blu will continue to grow its market share - in a recession. ANYTHING that grows its revenues in a recession, or even simply maintains it market share, is doing well.

May 15th 2009 2:55PM You don't know what you're talking about. I got my Ccard HTPC working in less than 10 minutes with Comcast. Lots of people have. Some have had trouble, but I suspect that most of those people have signal strength issues with their service regarless. Also, the early production runs of ATI DCTs was riddled with bad units.
